Friction Stir Welding (FSW) has been proven to be a unique and substantial development in welding technology for the last two decades. In recent times, research advancement FSW related knowledge have emerging quickly worldwide. several benefits when lightweight alloys like magnesium alloys. AZ series of alloy is widely used structural applications great scope cater customized solutions industries automotive, aerospace, railway, etc. this review article, basic principles along with developments field 31 described detail. Outlooks foster are recognised.
